Yet again, I forgot to take before pictures! 🤦‍♂️ Anyway, this homeowner needed to upgrade two of their windows. Sometimes a small change can make a huge impact on someone’s life. Prep, prep, PREP! This job took a TON of preparation and planning from sizing the freestanding tub to the placement of the tub filler and mirror. When it comes to tile, measuring until you KNOW you’re correct is paramount to a successful install. This homeowner wanted to create a miniature getaway in their existing main bathroom. The decision to go with a freestanding tub and a mostly tiled space creates a spa like feel without ever having to leave the house! Perfect spot to light and candle and chill with a glass (or bottle) of wine 😊

Some might remember the project from last year this time, I FINALLY am posting the completion pictures. This second floor was almost entirely open concept but their kids growing up, we had to create a space for, not only the kids, but for mom and dad to relax and enjoy some of peace and tranquility. 3 total bedrooms and an ensuite created out of an entire open floor plan. From a roof leak caused by ice damming and improper ventilation to a new skylight, new roof covering and a flat, water spot free, ceiling. Skylight is . Roof done by Quality Roofing. These clients had a “perfect storm” of problems. The “vented” soffit was completely blocked by solid plywood hindering any air movement in the attic. The direct vent exhaust from their furnace was allowing warm moist air to collect along the edge of the soffit and dam up the rest of the roof. A previous repair had been attempted on the metal roof but was not the cause of the leak. Please make sure your soffits are clear and any exhaust vents in your home are extended or far enough away from the eave to do their job properly!

Helllooo Facebook! It’s been a minute! Really need to fire the social media manager (me). Anyway… this project was completed last fall and as you can see the difference a facelift of siding and windows can make on a home. Low maintenance and peace of mind! These homeowners were looking for a slab like look with this black tile. As a contractor one of the main goals is to have people post our work on social media and be proud of their investment, when we hear “wow, I love it”, or “I’m obsessed” as this client phrased it, it gives us a feeling of appreciation and additional satisfaction know we reached the expectation of the clients! Loved working on this one! The homeowners did their own installation of the tv and mantle!
