GEC was back at ICBA's Meet the Generals on June 11th, this time in Kelowna, B.C.

The event brought together 20+ general contractors and 800 industry leaders from across the Okanagan for an afternoon of business development and networking.

After a great experience at the Vancouver event in May, it was energizing to see the same momentum carry into Kelowna. The conversations were forward-looking, the room was full of people who care about where this industry is headed, and GEC was proud to be part of it.

Major Milestone at Hoskins Ave!

The team at our Hoskins Avenue project in West Kelowna, BC, has successfully placed approximately 165 m³ of concrete in a single slab-on-grade monolithic pour, completing it a full day ahead of schedule. Under the leadership of Project Manager Amanda Gurr, Superintendents Jeff Ayers and Oral Gustafson, and Carpenter Travis Oswald, the entire process was executed efficiently, with strong coordination around site logistics, safety, and traffic control.

New recreation upgrades are coming to the City of Chilliwack!

Gerry Enns Contracting is excited to begin work at the Chilliwack Landing Leisure Centre, where we’ll be contributing to major improvements at the city’s recreation complex.

The project includes a squash court expansion within the existing facility and the construction of the new Landing Sports Centre Annex, which will feature 10 pickleball courts.

These additions will help expand recreation opportunities and support the growing demand for indoor sports in the community.
