Duz Cho was proud to support and attend the 2026 Healing the Land Conference, hosted by Saulteau First Nations in Moberly Lake, B.C.

This year’s conference focused on Reclaim, Restore and Recover, bringing together First Nations, industry, government and people working in land restoration and stewardship.

It was a great few days of learning, sharing knowledge and hearing directly from people doing important work on the land. We also appreciated the opportunity to spend time with many of the Nations and partners we work alongside.

A big thank you to the Healing the Land Conference organizers, Saulteau First Nations, the speakers, Knowledge Holders and everyone who helped put together such a great event.

Environmental Monitor | Duz Cho Construction

Duz Cho Construction is currently seeking an experienced Environmental Monitor to support our civil construction activities in Vanderhoof, BC.

The successful candidate will provide day-to-day environmental oversight of construction activities and work under the direction of a Qualified Environmental Professional.

Position Details:
Location: Vanderhoof, BC
Position: Full-time, permanent field position
Rotation: 14 days on and 7 days off, or TBD
Wage: $30–$35 based on experience, plus applicable overtime
Shift Length: 10–12-hour days
Accommodation: LOA provided
Transportation: Company vehicle provided, or vehicle allowance with fuel card

Qualifications:
• Diploma or degree in environmental science, environmental technology, biology, natural resource management, forestry or a related discipline
• Previous environmental monitoring experience
• Knowledge of erosion and sediment control practices
• Strong field documentation and reporting skills
• Ability to work independently in remote field environments
• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence
• Alcohol/drug and physical testing are conditions of employment

The successful candidate will help prepare and serve well-balanced meals, complete daily food preparation and maintain clean, organized kitchen and dining areas while following all food-safety and sanitation procedures.

Position Details:

Location: Mackenzie, BC
Wage: $25 per hour
Position: Full-Time / Permanent
Rotation: To be determined – 2 weeks on/2 weeks off or 3 weeks on/1 week off
Camp accommodations provided
Overtime as per applicable BC legislation

Qualifications:

Duz Cho is currently seeking a friendly, dependable and professional Part-Time / On-Call Receptionist to provide reception and general office support at our Chetwynd, BC office.

The successful candidate will help maintain consistent front reception coverage, welcome visitors, answer and direct calls, and provide general administrative support when needed.

Position Details:
Location: Chetwynd, BC
Wage: $25 per hour
Position: Part-Time / On-Call
Work Location: 100% in-office
Hours: Flexible based on operational needs, including planned and occasional short-notice coverage during regular office hours

Qualifications:
Strong communication and customer service skills. Dependable, punctual and organized. Comfortable answering phones and interacting with a variety of people. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook and Word. Ability to maintain confidentiality and use good judgment. Previous reception, customer service or administrative experience is an asset but is not required.
