Happy Thanksgiving from our family to yours! 🦃🍂

With how busy life gets, it’s easy to forget to slow down and appreciate what we have. Today is a reminder of how much family matters—the love, support, and little moments together that mean the most.

I’m thankful for my family, the friends who stand beside us, and everyone who has supported Neerhof Contracting. Being able to do what I love and provide for my family is something I never want to take for granted.

A fresh look while keeping the character of this beautiful home! 🏡

We painted all of the decorative wood brackets and mouldings and installed new soffit to match the rest of the home. These details give older homes so much character, and it was great to help bring them back to life.

Another project wrapped up! 🔨

This one included upgrades throughout a few different areas of the home, with a big focus on making better use of the available space while giving everything a clean, finished look.

We gave the main bathroom a big makeover, complete with electrical upgrades and additional outlets, new lighting, and better utilization of the space with shelving above the laundry for added storage. We also removed the old, damaged ceiling tiles and drywalled the ceiling for a clean, flat finish. A new ceiling fan was installed with proper venting run through the attic and exhausted outside, and we finished around the shower with PVC trim for a waterproof, long-lasting and clean look.

In another bathroom, we installed new flooring, built a new step and added a new laundry tub.

We also made some major changes in the spare bedroom by adding three new closets and an attic access hatch. This involved cutting out and removing the existing lath and plaster, reframing the openings, installing new jambs, doors and trim, and finishing the closets with shelving and hanging rods.

A lot of different pieces came together on this project, adding storage, functionality and some much-needed updates throughout the home!

🔨 Another project wrapped up! 🔨

This basement kitchenette is officially complete and turned out beautifully.

A clean, modern setup that adds a ton of functionality to the space while fitting seamlessly into the existing basement. From the cabinetry and countertop to the sink, beverage fridge, backsplash, lighting and finishing details, everything came together for a sharp finished look.

Really happy with how this one turned out — especially how well the kitchenette complements the fireplace and hardwood flooring.

Thinking about adding a kitchenette, wet bar, or finishing your basement? Neerhof Contracting can help bring it together from start to finish.

Two Bathroom Upgrades Complete! 🔨

We recently wrapped up renovations on two bathrooms in this home, giving both spaces a clean, updated look.

The basement bathroom received a major refresh, including new tile flooring with in-floor heat, a new vanity and countertop, new toilet, fixtures, lighting, mirror, and finishing touches throughout.

The main-floor bathroom was also updated with a new vanity and countertop, new toilet, faucet, mirror, lighting and hardware, bringing a fresh new look to the space while working with the existing layout.

Really happy with how these two spaces came together — clean, functional, and built to last.

Thinking about updating a bathroom in your home? Neerhof Contracting can help bring it together from start to finish.

Sometimes our clients become more than just clients.

One of our clients is getting married, and we wanted to make them something special to celebrate the occasion.

We made this custom oak sign as a wedding gift for Kevin & Marlene, and we're pretty happy with how it turned out!

Running Neerhof Contracting has never just been about completing a job and moving on to the next one. Building good relationships with the people we work for is just as important to us as the work itself.

Congratulations Kevin & Marlene! Wishing you both many happy years together. ❤️

🔨 From an old garage door to a secure, weatherproof double-door entrance!

For this transformation, we:

✅ Removed the existing garage door
✅ Built a temporary support wall to safely carry the roof while the new structural beam was installed
✅ Framed the new rough opening
✅ Installed and waterproofed the new double doors
✅ Installed all door hardware
✅ Applied flashing, house wrap and matching siding
✅ Sealed every joint and the full perimeter of the doors with high-grade thermoplastic caulking to prevent water intrusion
✅ Cladded the wood trim around the rear double doors for a durable, low-maintenance waterproofing solution
✅ Removed all construction debris and left the property clean

A lot of important work goes on behind the finished siding. Proper structural support, flashing, waterproofing and sealing are what ensure the finished project doesn’t just look great—it performs properly and lasts.
