WHY A RED SEAL CARPENTER IS DIFFERENT

Becoming a Red Seal Journeyman Carpenter in BC is not something someone casually earns after “working in construction for awhile.”

It requires:
- About 6,000 apprenticeship hours
- Roughly 4 years of combined training and schooling
- Technical education
- Provincial and interprovincial certification exams

Training covers:
- Structural framing
- Building code
- Blueprint reading
- Moisture management
- Roof systems
- Building envelope systems
- Advanced layout and math
- Problem solving and sequencing

That level of training matters when someone is working on your home.

Because homes today are far too complex for guesswork and shortcuts.

🎉 We had an absolute blast participating in the Cherryville Days Parade this year!

A huge thank you to my wife for all her hard work planning and decorating the truck, and to my dad for driving it through the parade. Most importantly, a special shoutout to my daughter, who walked the parade route with me handing out candy and stickers. She had so much fun and felt incredibly proud to be helping out, it made the day even more memorable for both of us.

The community spirit at Cherryville Days was amazing, and it was wonderful seeing so many smiling faces along the route. We truly love being part of this community and are grateful for the support we’ve received over the years.
