Stinky feet, often dismissed as a minor inconvenience, can actually be a symptom of a medical condition known as bromhydrosis. This condition occurs when sweat glands secrete fluid, which then becomes a breeding ground for bacteria, leading to the emission of an unpleasant odor. How to permanently get rid of foot smell? Practice good foot hygiene. Wash your feet every day using antibacterial soap and dry thoroughly, paying particular attention to the areas between the toes. Use a pumice stone or foot file to remove any hard, dead skin, and trim toenails straight across. Wear clean, moisture-wicking socks and change them daily. If possible, have two pairs of shoes or boots and change your shoes at least every 24 hours, giving each pair 24 hours to dry before wearing them again.
