The owner of a Charlottetown electrical company says he still hasn’t been paid $56,000 for work he did over the last year. Matt Eye was hired by a New Brunswick contractor who got paid by the province, but didn’t pay Eye his share.

This is an immediate position as we continue to grow and expand our service work. We’re looking for someone experienced in generator maintenance, troubleshooting, and electrical upgrades to join our crew.

Role includes:

* Generator maintenance & troubleshooting (experience with Generac and Champion Power Equipment considered an asset)
* Service calls and diagnostics
* Panel upgrades and general electrical work
* Working directly with customers

What we’re looking for:

* Licensed electrician or strong field experience
* Strong troubleshooting ability
* Mechanical experience considered an asset
* Reliable, professional, and detail-oriented
* Willing to learn and take part in ongoing technical training

We would like to send our deepest condolences to the Griffin family.

A true Island entrepreneur, supported by a wonderful team and an incredible family. I remember being their neighbour when I made the decision to start my own business, and I always respected what he built and the drive he had, with his family right by his side.

While I didn’t know Gordie personally, I truly admired everything he accomplished — both in business and in family.

Rest in peace. Our heartfelt sympathies go out from our family to yours.

GWG Flooring will be closed to the public this week (March 30th) while our family is grieving a great loss.
