This week, the EZ Breathe team was called to two separate homes to properly clean a cassette-style and a floor-mounted heat pump.

In both cases, another “professional” company had already shown up but couldn’t figure out how to take the units apart—so they simply wiped them down and called them clean.

We fully disassembled each unit, pressure-washed the coils and fan wheels, treated them for mold, then reassembled and tested everything to ensure they were operating properly.

If you only have your heat pump cleaned once a year, it’s worth spending the extra $20 to hire a real professional who will do it properly the first time—rather than paying twice to have the job redone.

🚨 A dryer vent cleaning is about more than removing lint—it's about protecting your home.

Here's a recent job that proves why.

We arrived for a routine dryer vent cleaning and, during our camera inspection, discovered the previous installer had used non-code compliant flexible plastic ducting inside the wall.
