As many of you know, we make our sock yarn using mohair to give it strength and durability. What you may not realize is that our mohair is 100% Canadian sourced as well. When we make our Celtic Cashmere or Argyle Alpaca Fine? 100% Canadian fibre. Fancy That! and Iona bunny? The fibre comes directly from the our farm right here in Belfast, PEI. When you choose to purchase Canadian grown and milled fibre you are not only supporting the business you’re buying from but you are supporting the farmers and farms the animals are raised on, the workers and worker’s families of said businesses, and the communities surrounding all of those. Your purchases have a far reaching impact and we want to thank YOU for every time you choose to support local. Yes please for more brioche! We love this cowl pattern called “Perits Fours” by Susan Chin and think it would look fabulous knit in Wildwinds 2 Ply. Keep it lower contrast or go for a wild pop! This is a very fun accessory that would fit seamlessly into your Autumn wardrobe.

How is it September already? This year is flying by.

Just a quick note to our lovely customers that we will be open regular business hours for Monday, September 7th, Labour Day.
