It's been a busy couple of weeks since the last update. Infill building has it's challenges, but we finally got the rock excavated and hauled away. The street was full of spectators on Thursday as we pumped 70 metres of concrete into the forms. This week coming we will have the foundation inspected by the City of Ottawa....back-fill it and then the framers are up!

An older gentleman from the neighbourhood was watching for a while yesterday...and after about 30 mins taking In the show..he came up to me and said' the only difference between men and boys...is the size of their toys'. It all went as planned with no damage to the neighbours.

Well we finally have all the necessary clearances..permits and blessings from all the authorities.The show at 364 Roosevelt in Westboro starts at 8am tomorrow!!

This old house from 1952 had its last disconnect today. The hydro boys just cut the power to make way for the demolition crew next week. We are building a 2 unit semi-detached with high end finishes.

Hello everyone!! Here is a house that was built by the competition last year and its already a 'tear down'...lol. Seriously though...all builders are NOT created equal. Building dreams isn't easy and at Richmark every home is unique and special. Watch some dreams coming true in the near future!

this little guy was stuck on the yellow line near the highlands golf resort...so I took my hardhat off and put on my conservation officer hat. safe for another day!!
