Creating a swale!

A swale is a shallow trench laid out level along the land's contours. The earth dug from the swale is piled on the downhill side to make a berm.

Instead of surface water running off your property and taking all of your soils nutrients with it.

A swale catches the run off spreading along its length absorbing into the ground.

This then creates an underground reservoir that aids in plant growth.
