🌿From Overgrown to Overhauled!🌿

A little while back, we tackled this property that had gotten a bit… too comfortable with the wild side! 😅

We cleaned up the overgrowth around the house, removed the weeds and unwanted growth from the gardens, gave everything a good tidy-up, and finished it off with a fresh layer of mulch. 🌱🧹

It’s amazing what a little cleanup can do to bring a property back to life! 👌

🌿 From Overgrown & Overwhelming to Beautiful & Manageable!🌿

Last week, we had the pleasure of helping a wonderful couple transform their new property in the Trent Hills area after they quickly discovered just how much work their gardens needed.

Having recently moved to the area, they wanted to bring their neglected gardens back to life and create a property they could enjoy without feeling overwhelmed by the maintenance.

And what a transformation it was! 👏

Over the course of the project, we:

🌱 Completely weeded and cleaned up the gardens
✂️ Created fresh, crisp garden bed edges
🌳 Pruned and shaped shrubs throughout the property
🌲 Sightlined trees to improve visibility and make mowing easier
🪵 Removed several unwanted trees and shrubs, including a few that had been strategically “planted” by squirrels and birds! 🐿️😂
🌿 Removed a large, overgrown garden and replaced it with fresh sod
💧 Created a smaller, more manageable garden bed around the well
🌲 Finished everything off with fresh, natural cedar mulch throughout the garden beds

It was incredibly rewarding to watch the transformation happen section by section. What started as an overgrown and difficult-to-manage property is now a clean, beautiful space that these homeowners can actually sit back and enjoy. 🌿

Most importantly, it was an absolute pleasure working with this couple as they begin this next chapter of their lives and settle into their new home here in the Trent Hills.

A huge thank you to Dibbits Landscape Supply for hosting an incredible Contractor Appreciation Lunch yesterday!

It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with some of the industry's leading manufacturers and suppliers, learn about exciting new products, and see the latest innovations that are shaping the landscaping industry. From stunning new paver colours and textures to cutting-edge installation systems, lighting, artificial turf, and water features, there's no shortage of inspiration for creating truly one-of-a-kind outdoor spaces.

Of course, we also came home with plenty of swag—new hats (probably enough to last the next year!), T-shirts, notepads, pens, pencils, and more. Always a nice bonus!

Events like these remind us how valuable strong relationships with our suppliers are. Having access to the latest products, expert knowledge, and ongoing training allows us to continue delivering high-quality craftsmanship and beautiful landscapes for our clients.

A big shout-out to all of the knowledgeable vendors who took the time to answer questions, showcase their newest product lines, and share the innovations that help contractors like us build exceptional outdoor spaces.

✨ A small walkway can make a big first impression! ✨

This front entrance was ready for a refresh. The original walkway had settled over the years, leaving it uneven and well below the porch height.

We removed the existing interlock, rebuilt the base, raised the walkway approximately 6 inches, and installed a beautiful new grey paver with a contrasting soldier course border to give the entrance a clean, modern look.

The result is a level, durable walkway that not only improves curb appeal but also provides a much safer and more welcoming entrance to the home.

There's nothing better than transforming a space into something that's both beautiful and functional.

This project started after our client removed an above-ground pool that had taken up most of their backyard. Once the pool was gone, the deck was left looking unfinished, and because of the height, their dogs were at risk of injuring themselves every time they jumped off.

To bring everything together, we:
✔️ Levelled the deck
✔️ Installed new face boards
✔️ Built a brand-new pressure-treated railing
✔️ Added privacy lattice all the way around for a clean, finished look
✔️ Finished it off with a fresh pea stone installation to create a low-maintenance, attractive outdoor space

The end result is a backyard that's safer, more functional, and looks like it was always meant to be this way.

As I was heading to a job today, I passed two farmers walking through a corn field. I could tell right away... they were outstanding in their field! 🌽🤣
