Really happy how this came together, it was alot of work over weekends and weekday mornings, but in the end it was worth it.

Without the light, it's a beautiful piece, with the firelight LED light, It becomes a real focal point for a room.

A great mood setter for watching a movie, or quiet evening in!

How about something a little bit special?

This has a solid Narra top, with weathered Yakal edging, a great contrast and just adding that unique one of a kind style. It would sit at home in a condo, apartment or home, great for the bedroom, living area or even as a console table in a hallway, even better, the style works well in a industrial look, or a modern setting with feature pieces, or a more traditional setting.

The base is unique too, its from a antique sewing machine, made of complete cast iron, so very heavy, and the pedal base works too, so is awesome for those who need to keep their feet moving, even on video calls.

This Narra and Yakal top is a great size for a work from home setup, fitting a laptop, and still having enough space for a ipad, phone and headphones!

Fire and Ice!

I really happy how well this piece came out, I've included before and after pictures for reference.

It's a vintage cast iron Ice Shaver, which would have been used for Halo Halo and more.
I've now removed the razor for the ice, and will be replacing it with a Led Firelight bulb, giving the impression of fire coming out of the Ice shaver - hence the Fire and Ice name.

Restoration wasn't easy, I had to strip this whole machine apart, each piece was cleaned using a combination of hand sanding, wire brushes, and even electrolysis to remove rust. It was then primed with metal primer, and repainted in a dual tone of gloss black and a dark red. I expect to finish the electrics on the weekend!

Been a while since I've been able to post something, but doesn't mean I haven't been working. Putting the finishing touches to 3 different new projects, hopefully I'll be able to show them in their entirety tomorrow, so watch this space!

Wow, rainy days are here then!
Not so nice working outside when its wet, thankfully the last part of my Gas Nozzle lights are an indoor job!

Finishing all my orders off today, so they will be ready to send out or deliver tomorrow.

I will have a few spare so if anyone wants to treat themselves to a payday treat, you can get one for 4800 (with free delivery in Metro Manila, or national delivery via courier at buyers cost).

After weeks of making the gas nozzle lights, my existing supply of Narra stairs from a manila house have come to an end, so today, I went out in my patrol, and picked up some more!

Recycled from another house in Manila, and from a source in QC, I now have a great selection of Narra and Yakal hardwood stairs to make a whole new set of lights, stands and other projects!

Also picked up a mini cast iron ice crusher, excited to see what I will make from that!

A long day of finally marrying these together.

From old narra wood staircases, used fuel nozzles, reclaimed steel plates for the switch, and then edison style led bulbs and holders!
