We picked up a hitch hiker today. We came across her on the gold river highway between the bridge construction and GR, and watched another truck (perhaps intentionally) hit her - had to take her to Errington for help. This must have been someone's pet, it was entirely unafraid of us, rode in our laps the whole way.

I must apologize to the customers that were expecting me today, but things like this absolutely tear at my heart, and i couldn't do nothing.
..We all got home in very somber moods, and we're currently sharing around pics of our own pets getting proper doses of love&treats.
