This past weekend the TB Electric U11 Hurricanes came back from a 2-0 deficit on Saturday vs. Oceanside to win 3-2. Nova Rody earned player of the game with her hattrick to bring home the W and the team is going into the Christmas break sitting atop the league standings with a 5-1-0 record.

Sunday afternoon, the U11's hit Elevate by Primal Athletics for a Row-A-Thon with all proceeds being donated to the Salvation Army Christmas Kettles. They were challenged by head coach Chad Braithwaite to get a minimum of 3 donations and complete 3 x 5minute rowing sessions. The girls didn't disappoint and were up to the task.

Sunday night they traveled to Comox for an exhibition game vs. Cam Knox and his U11 Female Development team. Comox gave the Hurricanes all they could handle with excellent skating and hard nosed hockey. Courtenay residents Norah Harrison and Poppy Mckenzie, who play for the Hurricanes, were co-players of the game with Norah being a standout in net and Poppy scoring once and adding 2 assists.

The Pacific Wealth Management Ltd U13 Hurricanes hosted the U13 Victoria Reign C1 at Strathcona Gardens and came away with an 8-2 victory and improving to a 5-1-0 record. Alivia "Gutzy" Guthrie's grit and determination earned her a goal and the player of the game.

The Island Owl Mazda U15 Hurricanes were in Victoria on Saturday to take on the U15 Victoria Reign C2. The game ended in a 5-5 tie bringing their season record to 3-1-1. Gemma Quesnel was the player of the game with 3 goals.
