115 University – Progress Update 🚧🔥

Framing is flying and this place is finally starting to show its shape 👀
Walls are up, ceilings are coming together, and you can actually walk through and picture how this space is going to function.

This phase is all focused on building out a kitchen designed with accessibility in mind—making sure the layout works seamlessly for everyone while still keeping it clean and functional.

Framing progress at 115 University is moving fast 💪

All trades are working together seamlessly, and a big shoutout to Royal City Plumbing for being on site and reworking the existing plumbing to accommodate 2 sinks and a dishwasher. Solid work making sure everything lines up perfectly behind the walls.

The crew’s been busy opening up the space, clearing out what’s gotta go, and making room for what’s next. You can feel the progress already.

Lumber’s getting dropped off, trades are rolling in, and everyone’s working together to keep this one moving in the right direction 🔨

Fine Line is out here turning dirt piles into backyard upgrades 😎—wrapping up the exterior work on this addition project now that the inside is complete.

And let’s be honest… this kind of progress doesn’t happen without a little help from the weather ☀️
Sun’s out, tools are out, and the crew’s not wasting a second of it.

Demo Day Underway at 115 University
Another successful demo day in the books- clearing the way for something better, stronger, and built the Fine Line Way.

The crew is busy cleaning out the space and progressing with demolition to open up the layout and make the space more accessible and functional.

Precision, teamwork, and a little controlled chaos (okay, maybe more than a little).

Proud to be part of the team for this KW Habilitation project. Fine Line Structures is supporting the construction scope on this project- working alongside Obee Electric to turn plans into reality.

This project is a large scale transformation focused on creating an accessible, functional, and welcoming space for everyone. This includes a complete redesign of the kitchen, gymnasium, and multi-use areas. We are excited to get this project moving. Stay Tuned

For many years, 115 University Avenue was a busy and welcoming place for learning, connection, and community participation. As needs changed and the building aged, the space became underused. We're excited to share that that story is changing.

KW Habilitation is reimagining 115 as a flexible, accessible community space where more people can gather, learn, and connect. With key upgrades already completed and work beginning on a new accessible kitchen, the vision includes senior drop‑in opportunities, horticulture therapy, training spaces, and room for community events!

This project is about bringing new life back into a place with deep roots and creating more opportunities for belonging across our community. Read the full story and learn what’s ahead in our newsletter.
