Definitely not your everyday concrete project! 👷‍♂️

We recently completed the concrete work for this 40’ circular greenhouse foundation in Haliburton On, and it was a pretty cool one to see come together.

The project included the full circular footing and foundation wall, along with an equipment/storage room, engineered concrete slab, and airlock connection tying the greenhouse into the existing home.

From layout and excavation to forming, reinforcing, pouring and stripping, there was a lot that went into getting all the curves and elevations right.

Really happy with how this one turned out — now it’s ready for the greenhouse structure! 🌱🏗️

ShawCrete is looking for a reliable DZ driver to join our crew for the upcoming season.

Position: DZ Driver – Bin Truck / Equipment Hauler
Location: Tri-Cities area (Cambridge, Kitchener, Waterloo)

Responsibilities:
• Hauling bins, equipment, and materials to job sites
• Loading and securing skid steers, mini excavators, and other equipment
• Assisting crew on site when needed
• Keeping truck and equipment clean and maintained

Requirements:
• Valid DZ license
• Experience hauling equipment is an asset
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Comfortable working with a small crew
