Moisture💦💦 we need it all the time.
⠀
Anyone else finding that their hair has been bit dry with the changes in temperatures inside and outside? Having the heat on makes our hair and skin thirsty.
⠀
Once a week I have been giving myself a deep conditioning to help with the dryness I’ve been having.⠀
⠀
First, I shampoo once to get all the styling product out and any environmental debris I may have picked up. ⠀
⠀
Second I shampoo again to really deep clean, this is where you give your hair and scalp all the nutrients it needs!⠀
⠀
Third, I towel dry my hair and put about a nickel size amount of a deep conditioning mask in my hand and work it into my hair from my ears down. I then leave the mask in my hair for 5-10 minutes, if you’ve got the time go for 10 minutes.⠀
If you've got longer hair you will need to use a bit more product and still apply from the ears down. ⠀
⠀
Finally, give your hair a good rinse ensuring that you get all of the product out. I always use warm to lukewarm water to rinse my hair. This helps keep my colour in longer.⠀
⠀
If my hair is feeling extra thirsty I go with the Oligo Intensive Replenishing Mask followed by the Oligo Elixir Oil. As always the products I use are vegan, paragon free, gluten free, sulphate free, no artificial colours and colour safe.⠀
Any questions, hit me up in my DMs!
