The Conestoga Heavy Construction Association (CHCA) was founded in 1979.

We have a committee that looks after tender issues, and a proactive OSWCA rep that ensures the KW area has a strong voice in the sewer and watermain issues at a Provincial level.

🍂 As September wraps up, Ontario’s heavy construction industry is still hard at work.

Crews across the province continue building and maintaining the sewer, watermain, and transportation infrastructure our communities rely on every day. 💧🏗️

At CHCA, we’re proud to support the people keeping these critical projects moving, season after season.

🦺🚧 We are stronger together.

People build the construction industry, each bringing different skills, experiences, and perspectives to the job.

At CHCA, we’re proud to support an industry where everyone has the opportunity to contribute, grow, and build a rewarding career. 👷
When we work together, we build stronger teams, stronger communities, and a stronger future for Ontario.

🚧 Friday Fact: No two days on the job are ever the same.

Different projects, changing site conditions, new challenges, and new opportunities keep the construction industry moving. There’s always something to learn, something to build, and another challenge to take on. 👷🏗️

Here’s to the skilled professionals keeping Ontario moving, one project at a time.

Every crew has one... and if you don’t, you might be the one! 😂

Everyone brings different strengths to the job, but teamwork is what keeps a project moving. Here’s to the crews showing up, pulling together, and getting it done this week. 🚧

Happy Hump Day from CHCA!

🧡 Along with communities across Canada, CHCA recognizes September 30 as the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

Today, we honour the children who never returned home, Residential School Survivors, their families, communities, and all those impacted by the Residential School system.

We encourage our members and industry partners to take time to listen, learn, reflect, and continue the work toward reconciliation.

🧡 Every Child Matters.

👷‍♀️Build Stronger. Build Together. 🦺
A strong construction industry is built by people with different experiences, perspectives, and skills working toward a common goal.

Women and diverse professionals play an important role in shaping the future of Ontario’s heavy construction industry... from the jobsite to the decisions that strengthen our communities.

When we make room for more voices, we build a stronger industry and a stronger future.
Stronger Industry. Stronger Voice.
