Today, alongside the City of Calgary, Calgary Public Library, special guests, and our project teams, we celebrated the official of Phase 2 of the !
CANA is proud to be building the next phase of this growing community hub in northwest . The project includes a new 15,000 sq. ft. library, underground and surface parking, a community commons green space, and a new main street to improve access throughout the site.
The project is targeting certification and incorporates a number of sustainable building features, including a geothermal ground-source heat pump system, rooftop solar panels, energy-efficient windows, and exterior shading systems.
We’re excited to officially mark this milestone alongside the project team and look forward to bringing this new community space to life.
Project consultants include DIALOG, Watt Consulting Group Ltd. (WATT), Revolve Engineering Inc., Level Playing Field, Tetra Tech, Village Consulting, STOK and Vinspec.
