Sometimes a project uncovers unexpected challenges—and that's when choosing the right contractor matters most.

What started as a deck resurfacing quickly revealed hidden structural issues that needed to be addressed before the new decking could be installed. We also helped the homeowner navigate their Trex® warranty claim, ensuring they received the replacement materials they were entitled to before work moved forward.

From there, our team got to work, rebuilding the deck so it was safe, beautiful, and ready to enjoy for the long weekend.

A front entrance should do more than get you to the front door—it should make a great first impression.

For this project, we built a low-maintenance composite front porch using Trex® Toasted Sand decking with a Spiced Rum border, finished with clean, modern McLean aluminum railings. The contrasting border adds definition, while the aluminum railing provides lasting durability with minimal maintenance.

Small upgrades like this can dramatically improve curb appeal while creating a welcoming entrance that will look great for years to come.

Every deck is designed to support more than just the decking itself.

Some weight comes and goes—like family gatherings, patio furniture, barbecues, and planters. Other weight is permanent, including the framing, railings, pergolas, and roof structures that become part of the deck.

A structural assessment looks beyond the deck boards to evaluate the footings, posts, beams, joists, and overall condition of the structure. It also considers the upgrades you're planning and whether the existing deck is designed to safely support those additional loads.
