We were so happy to welcome last week ARS Japan, Ayako (Senior Manager) & Keiichi (Managing Director) all the way from Osaka. They unfortunately lost their bags, so we hooked them up with some Arborist Supply shirts ;) It was awesome to get to show them the shop face to face, and talk shop, saws, and travel with them! We are loving being the Canadian distributor for ARS Japan tools. If you haven't tried any yet, you definitely need to give them a go!

was a strong showcase of the skills our students have built since September. 🌳 From speed climbs to rescue and precision events, their hard work and growth were on full display—many already securing jobs before they completed the program today.

We had a wonderful, smart highschool young man - Isaac - come to us a while ago with hopes of learning more about rope, and completing a very extensive and impressive science project on it:

A Portable intelligent Rope inspection System (iRiS) for Work-at-Height Safety Ropes using AI

Guiding Question: How might cameras and machine learning be utilized, along with current inspection techniques and occupational procedures, to inspect, monitor, and report the condition of kernmantle climbing ropes and work-at-height safety lines?
