This customer was having a problem with there skylight. Someone installed a deck mounted skylight on a flat roof. They’re designed for an angled roof. We replaced it with a new type of Velux skylight. Polycarbonate dome over clear, comfort glass. Now you get the comfort of glass without needing to have an angled curb. We replaced these home made skylights that ended up causing quite a bit of water damage, with top quality Velux skylights. Rather then spending twice as much on custom skylights we replaced them with standard sized ones that saved them money, and has more options and used the rest of there budget to repair the damage,and-reshape the tunnels to fit the new ones.
