We’re excited to be sponsoring the CRDAC/Conklin Métis Invitational Golf Tournament this year! ⛳

The tournament takes place May 27 at the Lac La Biche Golf Course & Country Club, bringing together local organizations and community partners for a great day of golf in support of a meaningful cause.

All funds raised go toward employment, training, and post-secondary student support, helping create opportunities within the Conklin Métis community.

We’re proud to be part of it and looking forward to connecting with everyone out on the course!

Moments like this put things into perspective.

Standing at the base of work like this, it’s hard not to notice how small we really are in the bigger picture. Out here, surrounded by open space and massive infrastructure, the scale of the environment tends to slow you down and remind you to be present.

Field work has a way of doing that—offering a quiet reminder of our place in the world, and the responsibility that comes with working within it.

You never really know what you’ll see on a day in the field.

From changing weather to unexpected traffic, every site brings its own surprises. Moments like this are a reminder that field work means adapting to real‑world conditions—and sometimes sharing the road with sights you don’t exactly plan for.

Just another day out there.

Safety at Global Raymac starts long before work begins and continues until everyone is safely home.

Our teams often work in remote or changing environments, where planning matters just as much as ex*****on. That means site‑specific hazard assessments, clear communication before the work starts, checking equipment, and adjusting plans when conditions change. It also means watching out for one another and knowing when to slow things down or stop work altogether.

Safety isn’t just a message we share—it’s something we expect ourselves to live, every day. Because walking the walk makes all the difference.

Happy Mother’s Day

Wishing all the moms out there a wonderful day with family and time to enjoy it.

However the day is spent, we hope it’s filled with good moments, a bit of time to relax, and the people who matter most.

This week is National Safety & Health Week, a reminder that a safe workplace depends on more than procedures—it depends on people making thoughtful choices every day.

From planning work properly to managing fatigue, checking in with teammates, and speaking up when something doesn’t feel right, safety and health are part of how we look out for one another. Whether work happens in the field or the office, those small decisions add up.

This week is about recommitting to actions that support both safety and wellbeing—on the job and beyond.

👉 What’s one habit that helps keep you safe or healthy at work?

A day in the life doesn’t always start at the job site—it often starts with the journey getting there.

For work in remote locations like this, reaching the site can mean hours of travel by ATV before any equipment is set up. Navigating rough terrain, planning around distance and conditions, and carrying everything you need with you is just part of the day.

It’s a reminder that field work isn’t just about the task—it’s about the preparation, travel, and adaptability it takes to work in the middle of nowhere.

Not all surveying happens on dry land.

Bathymetric and hydrographic surveying allows our teams to gather accurate data below the water’s surface—whether that’s rivers, lakes, reservoirs, or other water bodies. Using specialized equipment, we’re able to map depths, underwater features, and changing conditions that can’t be seen from shore.

This kind of information is critical for projects involving infrastructure, environmental planning, and water‑related development. It helps reduce unknowns, supports safer decision‑making, and provides a clearer picture of what’s happening beneath the surface.

👉 What kind of environments does your work take you into?
