Little R&R (removal and replacement). We removed some existing concrete and replaced it with a level broom finished pad for a new hot tub. Perfect timing:)

We stamped this Royal Ashler patio for our friend Danny A at Jaguar Concrete-he will be the one who washes and seals this beauty before first frost, ew, winter talk already😱. Always a pleasure placing and finishing for someone who does great prep work for us (and usually buys us dinner too!)

4900sqft placed and finished just in time for a late dinner. Huge thx to our friends at Sky Concrete Pumping Ltd for putting down 99% of our jobs, and to Knelsen Sand and Gravel Ltd. for supplying about 95% of them (it’s never by choice when we get concrete from another ready-mix supplier). We also couldn’t do any of these big pours without help from my best friend Jays custom cribbing and flatwork and my nephew Bailey Mallet. Sometimes it actually takes a village!

These homeowners must be stoked to have both a new driveway and rear patio completed. They opted for black borders and a rock grey release, and then we also sealed the rest of their existing patio while we were there. The driveway was extended in size and given a checkerboard broom finish. We’re really pleased with how everything turned out. She’s definitely a showstopper:)

It’s always exciting to hand over a garage to the framers because we know what it’s like to not have a garage in the winter. A lot of concrete went into this slab and its (retaining) walls.

Our version of a foam party 😁. We prepped this bad boy but someone else was contracted for the actual concrete work. Whatever keeps us busy!
