Featured Presenter: John F. Straube
John Straube is a building scientist, educator and Principal and Senior Specialist at RDH Building Science. He holds a joint appointment as Associate Professor at the University of Waterloo, where he teaches building science, structural design, material science and design.
His research and consulting work has focused on durable, energy-efficient and healthy buildings, with expertise in heat, air and moisture physics, building enclosure performance, moisture management, building retrofits and high-performance buildings.
John is the author or co-author of more than 100 published technical papers, the author of High Performance Enclosures and co-author of Building Science for Building Enclosures. His contributions to building science education have been recognized with multiple awards, including the Lifetime Achievement Award in Building Science Education.
