Pulled into the parking lot and apparently this guy was waiting for his human to finish shopping. 😂

No licence. No thumbs.

“The Blue Door on Palo Verde Drive”
30x15 Acrylic on Canvas

Some houses are remembered for the people who lived inside them. Others are remembered for a feeling, the kind you can still remember years later.

On Palo Verde Drive, this little blue door was one of those places. Warm afternoons, desert plants spilling across the walkway, and a home that seemed to hold its own quiet stories. Nothing extraordinary happened here. And perhaps that was the point.

Sometimes, the places that stay with us are simply the ones that felt like home.

“Piddlebury’s Books” 18x24 Acrylic on Canvas

Every Thursday, Mr. Piddlebury placed one book in the window for anyone who needed it to see.

One rainy evening, a young woman stopped outside. The book in the window was the same one her mother had read to her every night before she disappeared.

The shop was closed.

The next morning, the book was gone.

So was Mr. Piddlebury.

Rain glistens on the cobblestones as the old city settles into evening. A taxi waits quietly beneath the warm glow of the windows, its next passenger yet to arrive.

For a moment, the street is still, holding the promise of somewhere to go and a story yet to unfold.

Palm Springs holds a special place in my client’s heart, and it was an honour to bring this landscape to life. From the iconic palms and desert blooms to the mountain backdrop, every detail was painted to capture the feeling of a place filled with memories.

There’s something incredibly rewarding about creating artwork that tells someone else’s story. Thank you for trusting me with yours. 💚🌴
