I’m excited to announce that I will be returning for a second year to the Mini Masterpiece Art Show during the Calgary Stampede 2026.

I’ll have five pieces on the wall. Small in scale, but full of the quiet stories I’m always chasing in my work.

“Sidewalking”
12x12 Acrylic on canvas

A black bicycle with red fenders is left neatly along the sidewalk, as if its rider chose to continue on foot. Maybe it was just a short walk into a nearby shop, or around the corner to clear their head. Overhead, early autumn leaves shift in the light, casting soft shadows across the wall. I’m thrilled to share that my work has been recognized and selected for the international juried exhibition “AIRE” at the Federation Gallery.

This exhibition brings together artists from around the world celebrating representational art, and I’m honoured to have my painting included.

The piece is now available for purchase online through the Federation Gallery.

Grateful to the jurors and the Federation of Canadian Artists for the opportunity.

Sad post but my dad passed away with family surrounding him on November 3rd.

He was an artist and a great guitar player, too. Creativity was simply part of who he was.

We weren’t always close, but over time, art became the bridge between us.

Sharing that love for creating brought a quiet understanding something words couldn’t quite reach.

I’ll carry his spirit with me in every painting and in the way I see the world.

Rest peacefully, Dad. 🤍
