Sounds strange, right? But when stone veneer is done well, it should feel like it belongs on the home — not like it was added afterward.

Fall is officially here in Alberta! 🍂🏡

The leaves are changing, the mornings are getting cooler, and another busy construction season is moving into its next chapter.

Alberta’s new-home market is beginning to moderate after several years of exceptionally strong growth, but construction activity remains significant. The latest CMHC data shows more than 24,500 homes under construction in Calgary and more than 18,000 in Edmonton as of July. Edmonton’s housing-start trend actually increased 10% from June, while Calgary’s declined 6% as the market begins to settle from recent record highs.

For those of us working alongside Alberta’s builders, that still means a lot of homes — and a lot of stone — to install.

So bring on the cooler weather. 🍁 Our crews are ready for another season of doing what we do best.
