I have just finished my first rocking chair in a run I plan on continuing in the fall. This chair is the same chair that I made while I was at but has been heavily modified to be more comfortable and more aesthetically pleasing. These modifications include a more curved back support, an internal doweled frame for a better looking weave, a two coloured weave, and the chair armrest to a few. I plan on making at least three more in the fall, but if you are interested in having your own, please let me know!

8 foot long veneering job not as easy as it looks…

A quick recap on what has been going on in the shop lately! I’ve started my first veneered project since returning from Scotland. Fortunately, thanks to vaccupress zip bags, and the Micheal Fortune inspired veneer cutter, I have been able to tackle these 8 foot long veneer glue ups on my own. I also made a cutting board 3. I’m reintroducing my candle lineup! I’m on a mission to up cycle as many aspects of these candles as possible. The wood is made from scraps from my furniture projects, the candle holder is made from old soup cans and they are made of 100% pure beeswax with a wooden wick. I make every part of each one in house. If you are interested in purchasing one, dm me! They are 50 dollars each. I currently have about 100 in stock so make sure to get yourself one before they are gone! The 5 scents are: lavender, eucalyptus spearmint, grapefruit, fir and natural.
