Big business update for Flame & Faucet! Tyler has recently joined our team and we’d love to give him a warm welcome 🔥

Originally from northern BC, Tyler moved to Calgary in 2013 and has since become a seasoned pro in the plumbing industry.​ With 15 years of experience under his belt, Tyler is a certified Journeyman Plumber, Gasfitter, and Refrigeration Technician, bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team. His skillset and dedication to his craft are unmatched, making him a valuable asset on any project. ​

Outside of work, Tyler is the best dad to his two children and two step-children. Whether he’s playing, helping with school projects, or simply enjoying family moments, his kids are always a top priority. He’s also an avid animal lover and enjoys caring for his furry companions. We’re thrilled to have Tyler on board and know he’ll continue to deliver exceptional service to our clients, all while being an amazing father at home.

Jeff will sadly be off the tools for at least 6 months while he is recovering from shoulder surgery. He is now just over one week post-op. Despite this temporary setback, Jeff’s dedication to the trade and his customers is unwavering; he is currently under construction, but will be back on the job site as soon as possible. In the meantime, he’ll look forward to answering and responding to your phone calls and e-mails ☺️

Replaced a 100Kbtu furnace today with a 2 stage Rheem💪 and changed out an old water softener at the same time! The install went smoothly.

While working, we found both the exhaust and air intake had missed glued fittings and fell apart when the old furnace was removed. Very scary 🫣 but thankfully that wasn’t the reason for our visit.

When we install equipment, we never assume it was done right the first time and often catch stuff the inspectors/installers may have missed. We are proud to be fixers. The world needs more fixers.

In this case, replacement was the better option as replacing the failed ECM blower would be almost half the cost of the full furnace install. Helping people make the choices that we, ourselves, would make in our own homes is our goal. No pressure, no sales pitch. Transparency. Alllll day long. Again, we got you Calgary. 😎

New 50 gallon Rheem tank install, the old rusty boy that was removed had pex right to the tank connections! Not cool bro! As the venting is C-vent copper should be run to a minimum of 6 inches away from the vent before pex connections. Fear not, we made it right! No step skipping here . Another fresh install done today by . We hard pipe all of our tank installs and clean things up as much as possible. This particular mech room had a slight gas odour and when we uninstalled the gas lines we found a few pipes hand tight, and to be sure we tested all the gas lines in the mech room and assured everything was leak free. Natural gas is nothing to leave to anyone other than the pro’s. we got you Calgary. Rest assured that a Redseal Journey person will be installing all off your equipment when you choose us. New water softener and 60 gal electric water heater recently installed by Flame and Faucet! The old tank was so full of scale it had to be pumped out from the top as the drain was completely clogged at the bottom. Good thing we have solutions to that situation 😉. Adding a water softener will prevent these elements for premature failure and help the tank live a long and happy life. Call or text us at 403 200 2951 for an off site quote today!
