Well, this was a first for me! 🩷🎨

Today I had the opportunity and honour of being invited as a guest speaker for an introductory painting class.

I was asked to come in and share some of my experience, knowledge, and what I’ve learned over the years working in the painting industry and building my own business. I was also really happy to donate a bunch of paint and supplies to help these students get started.

This one meant a lot to me because something I genuinely want to do more of is encourage and motivate people to get into the trades, especially painting.

I absolutely love what I do. I’m passionate about this trade, I’m proud of the career I’ve built, and I’ve learned so much along the way. If I can take that knowledge and experience and pass it forward to help someone else build a career, learn a skill, or realize what they’re capable of, I want to do that.

Public speaking definitely isn’t something I do every day, so hearing afterward that my talk was well-spoken, informative, and provided the class with a lot of valuable information felt pretty damn good. 🥰 I walked out feeling proud, confident, and honestly just really honoured and happy that I got to be part of it.

It’s pretty cool going from being the person learning and asking questions to now being asked to stand in front of a class and share what I’ve learned.

These stairs were definitely ready for some love. A little prep, a fresh coat of white, and Iron Ore on the treads completely changed the look. 🖤

A little colour can completely change a space. 🖤🎨

I’ve been having way too much fun with accent walls lately! Sometimes you don’t need to repaint the whole room. One bold wall can add depth, warmth and a whole new vibe.

Simple change. BIG difference. 🙌

✨ Transformation ✨

This project was all about giving this home a fresh, clean update and getting it ready to hit the market. 🏡

Fresh Aesthetic White walls, updated doors and trim, refreshed bathrooms, painted countertops and backsplash, ceiling work, repairs, and plenty of prep along the way.

A lot of work went into this one, but the difference is huge. Fresh, bright, clean and ready for its next chapter. 🤍

What a difference fresh paint can make! 🤍

This home got a full refresh, taking it from dark and dated to bright, clean and ready for its next chapter. Fresh walls, trim and doors, stained windows casings, garage door, and a whole lot of prep went into bringing this one back to life.

The final result is such a beautiful transformation — fresh, modern and completely changed the feel of the home. 🪜🎨
