My thoughts are with all the evacuees and the firefighters battling the blaze in the Big Bar area - let's hope the weather cooperates and they can get a handle on things. I've taken a few trips through there over the years admiring the fall colours - such a beautiful area!

Day 2 of the Ashcroft Plein Air event - Mostly sunny with only a few sprinkles of rain today. Got two pieces done this morning, and ready for the "Wet Paint Show" happening from 2:00 - 4:00PM today at St. Alban's Hall. Participating artists will have their work from the weekend on display, so stop by and have a look! 🖼

It was a day of all seasons on the first day of the Ashcroft Plein Air paint out - wind, rain, sun...more rain. At one point I had two sweatshirts and a blanket on! Great scenes and the sky had incredible everchanging clouds - So hard to capture on canvas!

Two of my pieces, "No. 24" and "Wisteria Corner" are now on display at the Ashcroft Library. Stop in and see them and the other artwork on display if you are in the area. It's great that the library is able to showcase original pieces by local artists!
