Most people hear "vinyl plank" and immediately picture something cheap. Plasticky. The flooring you settle for, not the flooring you choose.

And honestly? Ten years ago, that was fair. But if you're still judging vinyl by what it used to be, keep reading.

Here's what the photos don't show you. That's a rigid SPC core under your feet — 7.5mm thick with a 20 mil wear layer, which is commercial-grade durability in a condo living room. Waterproof, so a spilled glass of wine is a paper towel situation, not a panic. Attached EVA pad with an IIC 73 sound rating, which your downstairs neighbours will appreciate even if they never know why. Pet friendly. Radiant heat compliant. Low VOC.
