RooFix was established in 2000 to answer a perceived need in the roofing industry. Traditionally roofing contractors have been just that - contractors, primarily concerned with the installation of new roofs or the complete replacement of old ones, be they commercial or residential. Requests for small repairs, leak investigations, maintenance and roof assessments were refused or given low priority
or at best considered a sideline. The level of service needed for repair and maintenance work was simply too time consuming and detail intensive for traditional roofing contractors to look after such requests. In fact in a lot of cases these repairs are referred back to RooFix through other roofing companies. RooFix was established to provide a service to address these small requests. Service calls, repairs, leaks and maintenance is the focus of our business rather than an after thought. RooFix has worked very hard over 20 years of business to educate our staff both office and field to deal effectively with your needs. We communicate your roofing issues and provide the most cost effective/technically sound repairs in an easily translatable manner. The President and management of RooFix bring a total of 45 years of roof industry experience to the company and formal training including two RRO designations, (Registered Roof Observers), two Red Shield roofing certifications, metal cladding certification, two Building Envelope Certificates and numerous other trade related inspection certificates and courses. The President of the company is a graduate if the University of Alberta and the Executive Management Program at the Simon Fraser University Graduate School of Business. He has served several terms as a director of the Alberta Roofing contractors Association, the Canadian and the National Roofing Contractors (US) Associations and as president of both the Alberta and Canadian Associations.
