Yesterday was a bit weird. ❄️Wet March 🌷snowfall north of the river. Contour was out there clearing the sidewalks so you could safely enjoy the rain again.😝☔️

2, 4, 6, 8, look at all the leaves we raked! 🍂🍁😮‍💨

Leaves and hardscape like roadways, sidewalks and gravel don't mix, literally and figuratively, so they have got to go. 🍂💨

Teams are grateful to finally put away the leaf blowers and rakes at the end of leaf season.
Time sharpen the bypass pruners and pick up the hedge trimmers, the winter pruning bell has rung! ✂️🌲🪾

Tansy ragwort is in full bloom and easy to spot right now. This noxious invasive plant leads to liver failure in livestock. If you manage land in rural Langley, even if you don't have livestock, please become familiar with tansy ragwort and work to remove it from your property as seeds can easily spread. Land managers have a duty to control noxious weeds, including municipalities along roadsides, under the BC W**d Control Act.

Liver damage presents as depression, poor coordination, skin and hair issues, bitter milk (young animals can be poisoned by their moms), coma and death. Horses, cattle, goats, and sheep can all be impacted.
