An industry veteran of over 22 years, Shylesh Mishra has been working in residential mechanical since he was fresh out of high school.

At True, he’s a highly skilled Aftercare/QAQC Foreman, helping to get our sites past the finish line. Known on site for being a fixer, he assists in scheduling, quoting, setting up new jobs, and more.

When asked about his experience at True, here’s what Shy shared:

"My experience at True has really been the best. Coworkers have been great to work with, and the guys on site all have a terrific attitude.

I couldn’t have a better company to work for. A career highlight for me was receiving the Be Connected, RISE Award at True.”

When he’s not on site, you can find him enjoying time with family and friends and taking his kids out on family trips.

Uptown West sets a new standard for purpose-built rental living in New Westminster.

Developed by PC Urban and built by Marcon, this 29-storey community includes 338 rental homes, 10,000 SF of street-level commercial space, and more.

Leading the mechanical systems installation, we delivered a comprehensive system to suit their needs. Feeding into the tower is the domestic booster pump system in the parkade, with the air source heat pump for domestic hot water, 9 storage tanks (with gas-fired back-up boiler), Mitsubishi VRF heating and cooling system, and 50 condensers.

Kudos to the team for nailing the delivery on this extensive project!

2025 was a banner year for safety at True Mechanical, achieving zero lost time incidents over the year.

This year, we're building on that proactive approach and aligning with some of our top GCs and partners in the industry by rolling out new type 2 hard hats for our site crews.

Type 2 hard hats are safer, provide better protection across a wider range of work, and offer seamless integration with attachments such as headlamps, face shields, and hearing protection, just to name a few.

Here's to making another milestone year in safety happen at True Mechanical.

Construction of the iconic "Jenga" Fifteen Fifteen tower by Bosa Properties and Kingswood Properties continues to carve a striking figure across Vancouver's skyline.

The recent lift included placing Pod 4 on top of Pod 3, cantilevered over West Georgia Street, where our team will be installing approximately 30’ of extending piping out of the building and into the pod to connect the kitchens and bathrooms.

Designed by the internationally acclaimed Ole Scheeren, we’re proud to be working on such a collaborative project, from pre-planning and VDC to heating, cooling, and plumbing installation.

Construction on the new state-of-the-art Okanagan College Centre for Food, Wine, and Tourism continues to progress well, with excellent work by our field team.

Main floor drainage is nearing completion, with domestic water and hydronic piping making great progress. Fully modelled by our VDC division, the site team has expertly translated that work directly into the field.

Level 2 installation will begin later this month, with more construction updates forthcoming.

Andre Cruz is our expert IT Administrator at True, supporting team members and applications across the company and making sure our technology is secure, reliable, and works well for everyone.

Working in IT for over 15 years, his early interest in using technology to support people and make everyday work easier and more efficient has been at the heart of his growing career. Monitoring and protecting our data using industry best practices, he works closely with each of our teams to make sure our technology supports the business effectively.

When asked about his work at True, Andre shared the following:

"Since joining, I’ve helped build and organize our IT asset inventory, improving visibility and control while strengthening security policies and enhancing user support efficiency.

A key highlight has been driving process improvements that boosted reliability and elevated the overall user experience through close collaboration with teams across the organization."

Outside of the office, Andre enjoys keeping up with advances in technology, spending quality time with family and friends, and exploring British Columbia's great outdoors.

Construction is continuing on Tower 5 of The Amazing Brentwood, as we work alongside SHAPE Properties and the experienced site teams.

The roof pre-cast layout is looking good atop the 54th floor, where decking is underway. We recently lifted the storage tanks, Viessman boilers, and other equipment, thanks to the expert work of the lift team.

This mechanical room buildout will house boilers, HWT, expansion tanks, and a whole lot more to service this highly sought-after residential tower.
