This month, we're recognizing the The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada. As the largest voluntary health organization dedicated to blood cancer in Canada, LLSC funds lifesaving research and provides educational resources and support services to patients and their families. Their mission is to find cures and ensure access to treatment for all Canadians affected by blood cancer.

With autumn in full swing, storm season is on the way, and a standby generator is only useful if it starts when the power goes out. It's Fire Prevention Week, and this year the focus is on lithium-ion batteries. They power everything from cordless tools to e-bikes, and when one is damaged or improperly charged, it can overheat and ignite. Use the charger that comes with your equipment, charge on a hard surface with room around it, and stop using any battery that swells or runs hot.

The best part of Mott will always be our people.

Our annual Family Picnic was a chance to celebrate not only our employees, but also the families and loved ones who support them every step of the way. It was an afternoon filled with great food, games, laughter, and connection, bringing together people from across the company away from the demands of work.

Thank you to everyone who attended and to those who helped organize another fantastic event. Days like these are a great reminder of what makes Mott such a special place to work.
