Garage gym conversion from the ground up 💪

This attached 2-car garage was in rough shape and overdue for an update. We started by removing all the old plaster and lath, then re-framed the exterior wall to allow proper insulation depth and built in dedicated structural supports for wall-mounted exercise equipment and weights.

From there, the space was fully insulated, air sealed, and vapour barrier installed, followed by drywall, mud, tape, and paint. A new mini-split HVAC system was added to provide efficient heating and cooling year-round.

The result is a clean, comfortable, and purpose-built home gym — with epoxy floors planned for the spring to finish it off.

Stairway Refresh!

This staircase has been refreshed with redesigned newel posts to add visual interest, a modern colour shift from the old stain, and newly painted stringers and balusters to brighten the entire space.

Just wrapped up this interior door replacement project in Waterdown.

✅ 6 new two-panel doors supplied & installed
✅ Proper swing alignment, clean reveals, and smooth operation
✅ Trimmed with new casings and painted for a clean, finished look
✅ Old doors removed and site left clean

Small details make a big difference; especially for doors they need to open, close, and look right in the space.

Loved working on this pretty front door today. Replaced a rotten threshold with a limestone sill with two piece aluminum threshold.

The bottom few inches of both jambs had rotted away. Can you spot the replacements?
