Our recently completed work on The Wilmot, a 9-storey condominium with 380 suites in Oakville’s uptown core, highlights a modern approach to architectural cladding, urban design, and sustainable exterior systems. This contemporary development combines streamlined geometry, intentional material selection, and forward-thinking building practices to define a new standard for high-rise residential design in the GTA.
The exterior features 3,000 sq. ft. of custom gold ALPOLIC® aluminum composite material (ACM) and 17,000 sq. ft. of hidden-fastener steel siding, creating a high-performance building envelope with exceptional durability, energy efficiency, and architectural precision. The contrast between the metallic ACM panels and the modern steel siding reinforces the project’s design language while supporting long-term performance in Ontario’s diverse climate.
Cladco provided technical expertise, material support, and coordinated façade solutions to help align the assembly with the project’s architectural vision. The result is a clean, contemporary, and sustainably driven exterior that reflects the evolving expectations of multi-family residential construction and urban architectural design across Canada.
