Key Requirements:
Required to have completed a recognized apprenticeship and hold a Certificate of Qualification 309(A)
Must be proficient in reading electrical blueprints
Be able to troubleshoot electrical equipment
Required to work in a multi-disciplined fast paced work environment where Safety and Quality are of the highest priority
Self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Repair, maintain and install electrical components, wiring and electrical equipment
Locate and determine reasons for electrical failures and carry out necessary repairs in a timely manner
Ensure all electrical parts, wiring and equipment conform to electrical code requirements and are operating in a safe and efficient manner
Perform preventative electrical maintenance procedures as required
Conduct electrical tests and maintain maintenance and repair records as required
Test and repair electronic components and equipment
Other duties that may be assigned
