Another milestone coming up at our Uxbridge retaining wall rehabilitation project for Metrolinx.

Our team is on track to complete the final caisson piles next week, wrapping up this stage of foundation work before moving into Phase 2 of the project.

It’s a strong example of the kind of complex, hands-on infrastructure work our teams take on across Ontario, combining technical ex*****on, coordination and safe work around active rail environments.

Meet Billy, one of our Senior Project Coordinators at Bronte.

Billy started as an Estimating Coordinator and Project Administrator. When he expressed an interest in spending more time in the field, Bronte supported his goals and helped transition him into a Field Coordinator role, followed by Project Coordinator and now Senior Project Coordinator.

Today, Billy helps connect every part of the project, from coordinating site teams and subcontractors to tracking schedules, costs and progress.

Progress continues on Bronte Construction’s retaining wall stabilization project in Kitchener.

The team is advancing the installation, grouting, and tensioning of soil nails, along with the placement of rebar and wire mesh reinforcement. The project scope also includes waterproofing, drainage installation, and a double-layer shotcrete system with a smooth final finish.

This update highlights the technical work and coordination involved in moving the wall through each stage of stabilization.
