Im squeezing in two last tastes of summer before the fall menu officially takes over!

🫐 Wild Blueberry Lemon Scones — buttery, flaky scones packed with fresh wild blueberries, bright lemon zest & finished with a vanilla glaze. Available in 4-packs.

🍑 Peach Cobbler Cheesecake — creamy cheesecake topped with fresh peach compote & buttery crumble.

Both have just been added to this week’s online menu and will only be sticking around for ONE WEEK before we make the switch to all things fall. 🍂

🍂 Fall menu testing is officially underway!
I’m currently in the kitchen working on recipes for the upcoming fall menu!

Going forward, you’ll typically see the online menu shift a little with each new month, some favourites will stick around, while others will make way for new seasonal flavours.

Since the Labour Day long weekend falls a little later this year, September’s new menu items will be added after the long weekend. Think cozy, warm, fall flavours coming your way. 🍎🍁

And with new flavours coming in, it means saying goodbye to a few current ones…
•Biscoff Cinnamon Buns will be leaving the menu! So if you’ve been meaning to try them (or already know you love them), this is your chance to grab them before they’re gone.

Stay tuned, I’ve got some really good things in the works for fall!

This a friendly PSA, don’t be afraid to freeze your sourdough!
On the very rare chance you have a leftover loaf 😉, freezing is a great way to save your loaf for another day, and yes it refreshes beautifully!

It’s also a great little trick if you have a dinner or get-together coming up that doesn’t line up with Friday pickup. Order an extra loaf, tuck it in the freezer, and pull it out when you need it.
Plus, with soup & stew season right around the corner, this is especially handy! Rather than trying to stretch a Friday loaf until midweek, freeze it while it’s fresh and revive it when you’re ready to enjoy it.

I usually freeze my loaves whole, but slices work too! Slice your loaf, separate the pieces with parchment, pop them into a freezer bag, and grab a slice whenever you want one — straight into the toaster for an easy refresh.

So yes… stocking the freezer with sourdough is absolutely encouraged. 😉
