A customer placed an order for a 13-inch rock and received a shipment from Orillia containing stones that varied in size from 10 to 14 inches. By working closely with the owner, we successfully created a solution that satisfied the customer. Dealing with irregularly sized stones was a considerable challenge.

All natural, no saw cuts as requested

The Flood Warning issued by Otonabee Conservation has been extended for the Trent-Severn Waterway in the jurisdiction of Otonabee Conservation. A Flood Watch has been issued for local watercourses within the jurisdiction of Otonabee Conservation.

Rain is expected to continue for the next 5 days. Water levels are rising across the Kawartha Lakes watershed, including the Otonabee River, Rice Lake, and the Trent River to Hastings. Flooding in low‑lying areas is imminent or already occurring.

Residents, along the shores of local watercourses, especially those located in low-lying areas, are advised to monitor conditions and take appropriate action to protect themselves and their property against imminent or occurring flooding.

🏠 What you can do now to help protect your home:
✔ Ensure sure water drains at least 2 metres away from your foundation
✔ Check your sump pump
✔ Move valuables and important documents to higher levels or waterproof containers
✔ Seal cracks in foundation walls and around windows where water could enter
✔ Review your home insurance coverage to understand flood protection
✔ Secure outdoor furniture and items on or around the shoreline

Safety Reminders during a Flood:
✅ If told to evacuate, leave immediately.
✅ Keep medications and important documents ready in case you need to leave.
✅ Unplug electrical appliances if safe to do so. Do not touch anything wet or standing in water.
❌ Do not eat food that has come in contact with flood water.
✅ Keep your cellphone charged safely
❌ Do not use taps, toilets, or showers if your septic system is flooded.
✅ Remove toxic substances (like pesticides) from flood‑prone areas.
✅ Keep children and pets away from flood water at all times.
