Spring must be around the corner. The crocuses are happily blooming. And the hellebores are already in bud just waiting to burst into flower.
The spring rains are much needed to bring up those water tables that are still low in many areas. With a bit of heat , nature will do what it does best Burst into a symphony of colour and song.

Well Grounded Gardens had a display at the Brockville library for Seedy Saturday. Great turn out. Lots of questions about native plans and naturalized gardens. And heritage plants for vegetable gardens.

The free seeds went quickly. Good to see so many enthusiastic gardeners getting ready for another gardening season.

More blooms at Well Grounded Gardens home gardens. All the spring flowers are bursting into colour as spring warms up.
Still a bit too early to do final clean up of gardens. In some areas there is still a chance of frost.
Be patient and wait until the temperatures are more consistent. This gives the beneficial insects to emerge slowly once spring is finally here.
