IT'S FREE TREE TIME AGAIN 😍😍

The City of Brantford is giving away 370 FREE trees to Brantford residents! There will be 8 different tree species available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Registration will open at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, April 14, 2025. Learn more about the giveaway criteria and how to register by visiting www.Brantford.ca/FreeTrees.

Spring is coming!! 😁

Leaves are not litter. They are food and shelter for butterflies, beetles, bees, moths and more. Leave the leaves until the spring. Spring yard waste collection will begin on March 31, 2025. Learn more at Brantford.ca/YardWaste.

The City will collect Christmas trees at the curb from Monday, January 6 until Friday, January 17, 2025. Only Christmas trees placed out during this time will be collected. After January 17th, residents will be responsible for disposing of trees themselves.

Place your tree visible at the curb before 7:00 a.m. and remember to remove ornaments, tinsel, tree stands and plastic bags from Christmas trees. Christmas trees longer than 8’ must be cut in half.
