Accounts Payable Clerk
Grand Valley Mechanical Ltd is a sales and service supplier for heating & cooling for residential, commercial, and industrial sectors. We also service commercial refrigeration and restaurant equipment. We currently have a position open for the role of Accounts Payable Clerk. We are looking for a hardworking, self-motivator, who enjoys working in a fast-paced office environment to join our team!
Responsibilities:
- Manage purchase orders issued
- Ensure packing slips agree to vendor invoices, reconcile with vendor’s statements, schedule payments while taking advantage of any discounts available.
- Properly cost invoices to corresponding work orders for resale and/or inventory
- Shipping/Receiving duties such as tracking orders & returns, creating weigh bills, and system data entry
- Maintain accurate inventory (inventory reconciliations)
- General shared office duties
Qualifications:
-Reliable with attention to detail
- Work well within a team
- Ability to prioritize, multi task, and keep organized
- Previous 5 years of office experience
- Some accounts payable experience and/or accounting background an asset
