Starting another staircase project today 👷‍♂️

This home has 3 separate sets of stairs. Today we’re starting with the first one, and over the next few weeks we’ll be coming back to complete the other two as well.

This set will be refinished and brought back to life step by step — proper prep, sanding, colour work and finish.

Staircases are one of the main things we specialize in at Wood Finishes & Renovations, whether it’s refinishing, recapping or a full staircase transformation.

I’ll be showing the whole process as we go 👀

Another day, another project 👷‍♂️

Today we’re making progress on a full basement renovation alongside Altius Drywall — framing is going up and the space is starting to take shape.

Tomorrow, we switch gears and start another staircase project. That’s the reality of running this business — different job, different challenge, every day.

If your stairs are outdated, damaged, or you just want to give them a completely new look, stair refinishing and renovations are one of our specialties.

A simple refresh can completely change the look of a staircase. 👌

For this one, we’re keeping the natural wood look while sanding, cleaning up the surface, and bringing the finish back to life.

Sometimes you don’t need to replace it — you just need to restore what’s already there.

🏡 Garage Door Refinishing

We just brought this weathered wood garage door back to life — sanded, restored, stained and protected for a fresh new look.

If your wooden garage door is faded, dry or peeling, we can restore it instead of replacing it.
