We often get asked, "what is the difference between a Face cord and a full or bush cord?"

The two most common ways to measure firewood is by using a face cord or a full ford. A face cord of firewood is a single stack of firewood that measures 4 feet high, 8 feet long by 16" deep (standard size of firewood).

A full cord of firewood is an amount of wood that measures 8 feet long, 4 feet high by 4 feet deep. The standard length for firewood in a full cord is 16″. A full cord of firewood has 3 rows.
