NOTE We have been seeing quotes from door to door roofers offering any brand of shingle for significant discounts. These are NOT domestic brands but are counterfeit and coming into Canada from Asia. Buyer beware, no warranty and the roofing systems they install only last a few years. There is no way around the high cost of properly installing a roof unless you compromise on the labour and material. There's a market for them but we cringe every time we see them on a roof, just means something local and certified roofers will have to go and repair in the next wind storm!

Make sure your installer has insurance, WSIB and is certified by the brand they are using, it's the only way to be sure that you are getting what you believe you are paying for!
