Job Title: Journeyman and Apprentice Construction Workers
Company: Federation Construction
Location: Cold Lake Local, Camp Projects
Job Type: Full-time, 6 Months +
Position Overview: We are currently hiring by hand welders, Journeyman, and Apprentice Construction Workers to work on a variety of projects, including both local and camp-based assignments. The ideal candidates will have experience in construction in the oil and gas industry and a strong work ethic. Both local and camp positions offer competitive compensation packages and opportunities for career advancement within our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute construction tasks according to project plans and specifications.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure project milestones are met.
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to ensure project success.
Qualifications:
• For Journeyman positions: Must have a valid Journeyman certification in a relevant trade (e.g., pipefitting, electrical, plumbing).
• For Apprentice positions: Must be enrolled in or have completed an apprenticeship program in a relevant trade.
• Previous experience in construction is preferred but not required for Apprentice positions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Willingness to work on a rotating schedule (local: 5 on and 2 off; camp: 10 on and 4 off).
